The works exhibited in our museum are those of a Vosges artist, Michel MAURICE (1937-2014), an artist-worker who, for 57 years, patiently searched in the surrounding forests for roots whose natural movement allowed him to shape characters, animals, flowers and other singular and magical scenes.

Concerned about preserving the elements of the forest, he made sure not to alter the natural environment. In his own way, he sought to raise awareness among young and old so that we can all, during our walks in our mountains, see the world in a big and poetic way.
